Admissions/Registration

Admissions:

The New York State Educational Department mandates that every child admitted to an Early Childhood Program for 3’s to be three years old by September 1st of the year they enter school.  A child admitted to Universal Pre-K program for 4’s must be four years old by December 31st of the year they enter school.

Registration:

Contact The Little Disciple Learning Center and obtain an Application for Enrollment for the three years old program.

Contact the schools district of White Plains (500 North Street White Plains, NY 10605) to obtain an Application for Enrollment for the Universal Pre-K Program.

Completed Applications should be brought to The Little Disciple Learning Center accompanied by the Application fee if registering for the 3 year old program.

The Director will contact parents/guardians upon receipt of application to arrange registration.
Registration of your child into the program requires a parent interview and additional paperwork completion.

The following documents are required with your registration paperwork:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate (If Applicable)
  • Record of Immunization
  • Health Records
  • Two proofs of address (For Universal Pre-K students)

 

Calendar Year:

The school year begins in early September and runs through mid-June following the White Plains School District calendar and closing schedule.
